Restructuring firm returns to Leeds roots with new office at One Park Row
Restructuring and advisory services firm PKF Geoffrey Martin & Co is establishing a new flagship base in Leeds city centre.
The company will relocate its team to offices at One Park Row run by workspace provider Gilbanks.
James Sleight, director and head of PKF Geoffrey Martin & Co in Leeds, said: “The firm started its journey 35 years ago in Leeds city centre.
“We’ve been really impressed by the offices at One Park Row and it will be good to get back to our roots in the heart of the city. It’s where we belong.”
He continued: “The Leeds professional services sector has been growing recently and we’re looking to play our part in the community and contribute to its success. Being based at One Park Row means we’re back and right in the centre of the fastest-growing city outside London.”
The Yorkshire-based Gilbanks has taken 20,000 sq ft of prime office space at One Park Row, where it is completing a multi-million pound refurbishment over two floors.
Gilbanks MD Alex Duckett commented: “We are delighted to welcome such a respected and successful Yorkshire firm like PKF Geoffrey Martin & Co to One Park Row.
“We are very proud to be repositioning one of the most iconic and sought-after office addresses in Leeds, having engaged best-in-class office designers SpaceInvaders to transform our new space into something very unique indeed.”
He added: “The response has been tremendous. There are a number of other significant deals to announce and we look forward to completing the comprehensive refurbishment of our two floors [in December], with official opening set for January.
Oliver Corrigan, co-founder of Gilbanks, hailed One Park Row as the “perfect pedigree” and “ultimate location” to launch the company’s latest serviced office centre, adding: “It offers customers a new class of workspace in the absolute heart of Leeds.”
