Sleaford Quality Foods hires global know-how to boost export strategy
Sleaford Quality Foods, the Lincolnshire-based high-quality ingredients supplier to the food industry, is set to expand its overseas sales after appointing Anthony Ware as its Export Manager.
Anthony will head up the export division mapping out priorities and opportunities for overseas growth at the company for the next five years.
Anthony has a great deal of international experience, initially in the hotel industry with assignments in Dubai, Qatar, South Africa and France. On returning to the UK he entered the foodservice & manufacturing arena developing his skills further with in the UK market.
Anthony comments: “Having established a wealth of international expertise, companies began requesting for me to look after their export activities and I subsequently worked for two companies as their export expert before joining SQF.”
“The opportunity to join SQF is very exciting as I will be shaping their export strategy. To continue and build on the success which we have achieved here in the UK we have a great opportunity to enter new markets overseas and build long term partnerships in the manufacturing and food service sectors. I’m looking forward to taking my past export experience and shaping the export strategy at SQF.”
James Arnold, managing director at Sleaford Quality Foods, said: “Export will be an important part of our growth strategy over the next five years, and Anthony will bring a wealth of understanding to the market after being involved in the export of goods to the US, China and the Middle East to name a few. He has experience exporting food around the world and has all the qualities we are looking for as we aim to make our export strategy more focussed and effective.”
