Alpha Card Continues Overseas Growth with Acquisition of French Distributor
Leeds based marketing and engagement firm, Alpha Card, shows no signs of slowing down its global expansion after the successful acquisition of French distributor, Media de Poche, earlier this month.
This latest move comes just six months after the firm’s successful acquisition of German print specialist, Card Media, together with the opening of its first US office in Florida.
Founded in 2004, Media de Poche quickly established itself as a leading provider of printed marketing materials, after distributing more than five million units in six languages across Europe, for its first major client, Air France.
In being acquired by Alpha Card, Media de Poche will now support the firm’s ambitious growth plans to become the World’s leading provider of z-folding cards, Infinity Cards and other direct marketing materials.
Ian Whitfield, Managing Director of Alpha Card, said: “We are delighted to welcome Media de Poche to the Alpha Card brand, and look forward to working with our new colleagues to further expand our European reach.”
“2018 has been an extremely exciting year for the business, where our multiple acquisitions and expansion into the States has accelerated our growth by over 30%.”
Founded in 2013, Alpha Card has established itself as the UK’s leading manufacturer of z-folding cards, achieving 25% growth year-on-year in the face of the growing digital market.
The firm has produced approaching 50 million products in just five years for almost every market sector, boasting clients throughout the UK as well as mainland Europe, Africa and North America, ranging from SMEs, government both local and national and multinationals such as Shell and Toyota.
Malek Hocini, former Managing Director of Media 2 Poche, added: “We are delighted that Media de Poche has joined the Alpha Card brand and are looking forward to watching its development and supporting the firm’s domination of the European z-folding card sector, in the months and years to come.”
