Half a century of excellence - Sleaford Quality Foods turns 50
Sleaford Quality Foods, the high-quality ingredients supplier to the food industry is this month celebrating 50 years of trading.
The Lincolnshire firm, which was set up in November 1968 by William and Betty Arnold, and is currently headed up by their son James, is now operating on the world stage from its base in Sleaford. And with a host of recent management-level hires, the company says it is better-placed than ever before to push forward with its growth plans.
This year saw parent company Jain Farm Fresh open a new spice facility in India that will provide Sleaford Quality Foods and its customers with the highest quality spice products in the world. At 14,000 sq m, it will be the largest spice processing facility in India with a capacity of 24,000MT per year, and is the only integrated spice facility from drying to milling in the world.
Fifty years on from its inception, the company now supplies its customers with over 650 different products, all of which have passed extensive quality controls and testing to give customers technical assurance and confidence, providing full traceability from field to fork.
MD James Arnold comments: “Our progression and continued expansion as a company can be sourced to commitment and teamwork which enables us to provide a first-class service to our current and future customers.
“We know and believe we can assist our customers to deliver growth and profitability within their business.”
“Sleaford Quality Foods may have been in business for over 50 years, but our ideas are as fresh as ever. We like to look back, but we’re more excited about the future.”
