Bruce Goes for VW Gold
There are some things that money just can’t buy and a Volkswagen Gold Pin is one such thing.
Volkswagen awards their Gold Pins very sparingly to those who they believe have made an outstanding contribution and though many were nominated, (by a third party), there were just four up for grabs this year and Head of Business at the VW Van Centre in Birmingham, Bruce Henderson, has been awarded one of them.
Bruce joined Swansway Motor Group, which owns and operates four VW Van Centres, in 2005, originally as Sales Manager at Swansway’s VW Van Centre in Wrexham. He’s now been at the Birmingham Van Centre for two and a half years and has done an amazing job in turning round the fortunes of what has always been a difficult site.
Delighted Bruce commented, “This is a real honour, I was told by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles that they had a fair number of nominations and as there were only four gold pins to be awarded, I thought I was destined to miss out”.
“So, it was a real thrill to find out I was a winner! This gold pin belongs to the whole Birmingham team, who have worked tirelessly to make this centre a success. Thanks to to the whole team, I couldn’t be more pleased”, added Bruce.
