Scarborough law firm extends into York with new office

Scarborough-based legal firm North Yorkshire Law has announced the opening of a new office in York, as it looks to keep up with rising demand for its services in the area.

The company, which was formed in 2000 from the amalgamation of several smaller firms, has seen its case load rise by 15 per cent in the last year.

It specialises in providing individuals and businesses across Yorkshire with advice on a range of legal matters, including conveyancing and civil litigation.

Natalie Foster, who will head up the new site, said the move is an exciting both for clients and staff at the business.

She commented: “The addition of a York office allows us to be on hand to give the best service for those instructing North Yorkshire Law to undertake work on their behalf.”

Adding to this, managing partner Richard Boyd said of the new office: “Having lived in York and carried out my training there, I am more than happy to take my present firm back to the city.

“There are many exciting opportunities for us to provide our brand of service to both new and existing clients. The business has seen a series of exciting new hires and promotions recently. It is fantastic to see it continue to expand.”

North Yorkshire Law’s new office is situated on Innovation Way in the Heslington area of the city, where it sits alongside a range of other businesses and university campus buildings.
