Hippo Digital to set up shop in revamped Aireside House
Leeds-based design firm Hippo Digital is to relocate to the newly refurbished Aireside House, after leasing the building’s ground and first floors from chartered surveyors Carter Towler.
The agency has taken just over 5,684 sq ft of space in the Aire Street building, allowing it to expand its team after it secured a number of large public sector contracts.
Commenting on the letting deal, Carter Towler senior surveyor Philip Shopland-Reed said: “We are delighted that Hippo Digital has chosen to relocate here. The central location close to the station, parking facilities and contemporary interior were all important factors.
“Aireside House has been extensively refurbished with many new contemporary features being added enhancing the fabulous original character of building.
“Whilst the landlord has completed the first-floor upgrade, Hippo Digital is restyling the ground floor to suit their own specific requirements.”
Hippo Digital’s Darragh Murdock added: “The move to Aireside House will help support our business expansion as we continue to experience a phenomenal growth in demand for our services.
“We are adding a number of co-working spaces too and there’s going to be a bar and free-to-use event venue. We really want to give something back to Leeds’ digital community.”
