MORE THAN 150 VISITORS ATTEND OPEN DAYS AT THE NEW EDNASTON PARK MANAGED WORKSPACE SCHEME
Business owners, entrepreneurs and local residents turned out in force to attend a series of open days at the new Ednaston Park managed workspace scheme.
More than 150 guests attended the events, which marked the completion of major refurbishment work to transform the former St Mary’s Nursing Home, located just off the A52 in Ednaston, into the new 20,000 ft2 scheme, which comprises of 32 fully serviced offices suites.
Guests were able to take a tour of the building and meet members of the Ednaston Park team and developers CWC Group, who purchased the building in September 2017 and relocated their own headquarters to Ednaston Park from Brailsford Hall earlier this year.
The building has been sympathetically restored to transform it into modern office accommodation which combines contemporary styling with many of the building’s original features. It boasts a magnificent reception area, complete with spiral staircase and contemporary lighting which complements the original oak and stone flooring.
Tenants will also be able to take advantage of other services, including meeting and training rooms. Meeting rooms will also be available for non-tenants to hire.
Commenting on the event, Lucy Delaney, Ednaston Park’s business centre manager said:
“Both Open Days were a great success and it was fantastic to see this beautiful building filled with people. It was also nice to welcome families of former residents of the St Mary’s nursing home to share their memories of the building.
“Ednaston Park has already attracted lots of interest from entrepreneurs, micro-businesses and SMEs, so it was great to be able to showcase what we can offer to businesses and individuals looking to achieve a better work life balance. “There is currently no managed workspace provision of this quality in and around Ashbourne. Ednaston Park will meet the growing demand from businesses looking for an alternative to city centre-based working and enable them to draw inspiration from this stunning location in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside.
“Many of the magnificent period features remain and work effortlessly alongside new high-quality fixtures and fittings, creating a luxury contemporary feel.”
Located off the A52 between Derby and Ashbourne, Ednaston Park is a magnificent period property dating back to the 19th Century and nestled in 18 acres of picturesque landscaped gardens.
