A year of wildness ahead thanks to charity lottery
Generous players of People’s Postcode Lottery are set to support all Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s 2019 events at its Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre on Druridge Bay.
With events ranging from pond dipping, minibeast hunting, bird watching, family and school holiday activities to butterfly and bird identification training, wildlife flower walks, photography and art workshops and even the opportunity to learn to play the harp, players of the charity lottery are ensuring that 2019 will be a great year for people to fall in love with nature.
Speaking about the support, Alex Lister, Druridge Bay Living Landscapes Manager said: “What a great start to 2019! Now, thanks to the generous support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery people can come along to our Wildlife Discovery Centre and try things which they may not have tried before.”
