SpinMe expands further into Middle East with Dubai partnership
SpinMe, a specialist in ecommerce technology, is continuing its expansion in the Middle East with a new partnership in Dubai.
The imaging and studio workflow expert which counts global retailers Saint Laurent, Selfridges, Halfords and Schuh among its clients is working with Shapes Defined, an automated photography solutions business.
Shapes Defined currently uses SpinMe’s technology to streamline the production and management of digital imagery for brands such as Colgate, Davidoff, Swatch and Mango. It’s the only automated studio of its kind in the Middle East.
SpinMe helps online retailers and brands run efficient studio workflow operations. The company’s technology brings speed and visibility to the entire product imagery journey from warehouse to website, automating and optimising image capture, delivery and reporting across multiple teams.
Shapes Defined’s Managing Partner Muna Salah will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for SpinMe in the Middle East, supporting its offices in London and Cheltenham.
“Superb product photography is the best way of engaging online shoppers, building trust in a brand and encouraging higher sales. Automating processes to produce this content is essential for today’s retailers which need to get high volumes of products online as swiftly as possible,” said David Brint, CEO of SpinMe. “Our partnership with Shapes Defined allows us to tap into in-depth knowledge of the local market, ultimately enabling us to increase our presence in the Middle East.”
SpinMe has been working with Sharjah Co-Op Society, an Emirates supermarket chain since early 2017 and is seeing an increased demand by brands in the region for its services.
The company is launching a new version of its software in January 2019, which will be compatible with Windows and Mac systems.
