Ednaston Park Managed Workspace Scheme Welcomes First Tenant
Just weeks after refurbishment work was completed on the new Ednaston Park managed workspace scheme between Derby and Ashbourne, the building has welcomed its first tenants.
Ashbourne-based construction company and developers ATD Homes have relocated to Ednaston Park following a significant period of growth over past 12 months.
ATD Homes was founded in 2012 by Jordan and Laura Mallisch and specialise in new build homes and large building works. Having outgrown their previous office, the search for larger premises began earlier in the year.
With two small children who go to school locally, the couple wanted to stay close to Ashbourne, but were surprised by the shortage of office space in and around the town. They looked at serviced offices further afield too, but nothing met their needs, until they noticed the sign promoting the new Ednaston Park managed workspace scheme.
They booked a viewing immediately and only had to wait a couple of weeks for the completion of refurbishment works to the period building, which was formerly the St Mary’s nursing home.
The company has taken up residence in the Tissington suite, which is situated on the first floor of the building overlooking the picturesque Derbyshire countryside beyond.
Ednaston Park comprises of 20,000 ft2 of flexible commercial space in the form of 32 office suites ranging in size from 54 ft2 to 526 ft2, available as single or multi-office lets.
The building is managed by property developers CWC Group who purchased the period property in September 2017 and relocated their headquarters to Ednaston Park from Brailsford Hall earlier this year.
Commenting on ATD Homes’ arrival at Ednaston Park, business centre manager Lucy Delaney said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Laura and Jordan as our first tenants. It’s great to see the building coming to life following its refurbishment.
“We look forward to welcoming more local companies in the coming weeks and establishing a strong business community that promotes collaboration and networking.”
Laura Mallisch added:
“The move to Ednaston Park forms part of the next phase of our expansion programme. Our business has doubled in size over the past 12 months and we needed premises that would accommodate us both now and in the future.
“We were impressed by the Tissington suite as soon as we saw it. The office has been beautifully renovated and has a huge bay window overlooking the front of the building which we absolutely love.”
“The facilities here are first class and having such a prestigious address is certain to be a massive plus, especially as we are taking on more and more multi-million-pound contracts.”
ATD Homes work across the Midlands and have a vast array of projects under their belt ranging from large extensions and one-off builds to multi mullion pound housing and commercial developments.
