Teesside legal firm gets fit for 2019!
Staff at Endeavour Partnership have clocked up over 23,500 miles and 59 million steps in the last 100 days as part of the firm’s new health and well-being strategy going into 2019.
The 59-strong team at the commercial law firm took part in the Virgin Global Challenge and have been walking the equivalent steps it takes to travel to different locations around the world, with the various departments competing against one another.
Endeavour Partnership invested in fitness tracking devices for all its staff, with the Commercial Disputes team - “Commercial Fitigation” - the overall winners of the challenge, covering more than 4,500 miles in 100 days.
As well as the Global Challenge, the team has been taking part in yoga and relaxation sessions during working hours and enjoying healthy breakfasts and lunches provided by the firm. ‘Yo-yo’ desks have also been installed to give staff the choice to stand or sit while they work.
Lee Bramley, partner and head of the litigation department, said: “We’re very keen to encourage our team to be active, eat well and take time out from their hectic roles. We also like to make sure we can help and support them in any way we can. The Global Challenge was great fun and a success, so we have now implemented a range of solutions to continually allow the team to look after their well-being.”
