Family-owned Swansway Honda Rochdale has been off on Swansway Santa patrol donating gifts to Safenet Rochdale Women’s Refuge.
The refuge houses 20 women and up to 35 children who have had to flee domestic violence, as refuge Support Worker, Sue Ruddy explained, “Christmas time puts extra pressure on families, making domestic violence an even higher risk than at other times of the year. I want to say a big thank you to Swansway Honda Bolton for helping lift a huge burden from the mums trying to give their children a nice Christmas”.
Bill Stow, General Manager at Swansway Honda Rochdale commented, “The work that Safenet do is amazing and it was humbling to be able to help, in just a small way, to make Christmas just a little more magical for the children staying at the refuge over Christmas”.
“For the team at Swansway Honda Rochdale being part of Swansway Motor Group has meant taking part in the Santa Patrol, which is now in its fifth year”.
“So, for us as a family owned business, it’s great to be able to give from our family to other families and I really hope this makes Christmas Day just a little better a for the families being cared for by Safenet”, added Bill.
