'Historic' pub in Hull reopens with £300k makeover
The historic Haworth pub, in Hull, is reopening its doors next week following a £300k transformation.
Situated at the Cottingham Road junction, the pub - said to be popular with students - has been fully transformed.
The Haworth, formally known as the Haworth Arms, will be open from breakfast until late, with a new menu offering street food influences: from vegan plant-based delights such as vegan chilli and rice and jackfruit bao buns to burgers and slow-cooked meats.
General manager, Elaine Gibson, said: “We are incredibly excited to relaunch our pub to the people of Hull.
“Not only is the new look amazing but our new menu offers a great range of food and drink. We look forward to welcoming everyone in throughout 2019.”
The pub also offers craft beers and cask ales, such as Beavertown, as well as infused spirits, smoothies and frappés.
