Technology Supports Delivery of Personalised Care Plans in Trust Care Homes

A group of care homes in the South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region is one of the first to drive the standards of care even higher with the installation of a mobile care monitoring programme.

Trust Care Ltd has installed Person Centred Software (PCS) into each of its homes to support its care assistants in their day to day care programmes. The company is proud to take strides forward in combining technology with the human element of person to person care for both residents and specialist nursing and dementia patients.

“This technology will allow us to be more efficient with our time whilst ensuring our residents receive the high standards of care for which we pride ourselves in and which they expect from us,” said Andrew Savage Director Trust Care Ltd. “The intuitive app allows us all to better record, monitor and analyse the care we give whilst allowing our carers more time for personal engagement.”

The electronic care plan technology brings a myriad of benefits including up to date care plans, permits access by care home managers and carers and its easy to use technology ensures care plans can be tailor made and individually monitored every hour, of every day, of every week. Each carer has their own data protected tablet whereby all information about each individual resident is accessed. This allows ‘live’ updating of each individual care plan, making more information readily available including daily routines, preferences and the care delivered.

“This technology is so flexible and it allows all our team members to deliver the same standards of care and efficiency of individual care programmes just in a different way,” said Andrew. “Within just a few weeks we have seen greater efficiencies, enhanced confidence in our team members and a reassurance that our wonderful levels of care are being delivered at all times of the day and night.”

Trust Care has seven homes across the South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region offering, residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.
