Roxy Ball Room team plots karaoke ‘party bar’ on Leeds’ Merrion Street
The team behind growing leisure brand Roxy Ball Room has revealed plans for a new sing-along party bar in Leeds city centre.
The new venue, Loop, will house five private karaoke booths along with old-school arcade machines and areas designed for games of prosecco pong and beer pong.
Four of the booths will have space for five to 15 guests and the largest will be able to accommodate 20. Each will offer a selection of more than 100,000 songs.
Loop will occupy the site on Merrion Street previously occupied by The Pit.
Joel Mitchell, brand development manager for Loop, said: “The Leeds nightlife scene has rocketed in the last few years, but we believe there’s still a huge gap in the market for an upfront party bar where revellers can really let their hair down.
“We’re confident Loop can fill that gap, as well as offering wannabee singers the chance to let loose and sing like nobody’s listening in our private booths. We can’t wait to see you all at the bar for a cocktail or three.”
Loop will be open until 1am on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. It is due to launch mid February.
