Tax Specialist Firm Takes on New Trusts & Estates Director

Qubic Tax has recruited a leading trusts specialist as Trusts & Estates Director to assist its growing portfolio of trusts and estates clients.

Qubic, a national firm of tax specialists with offices in London and Newcastle, specialises in providing tax and trust advice to SME’s, high net worth clients and business owners throughout the UK.

Now in its eleventh year of business, with over 35 staff, Qubic is pleased to welcome Andrew Jones to oversee its trusts and estates services and further strengthen its senior technical tax and trusts team.

Mr Jones has over 20 years’ experience in the area of Trusts, Estate Planning and Inheritance Tax matters for business owners and high net worth individuals. Mr Jones previously worked within Private Client Trusts & Estates for Top 5 UK Accounting firm BDO, specialising in family private wealth and trust administration.

Mr Jones commented: “I’m delighted to be starting a new role at Qubic. A large number of Qubic’s clients are referred from other professionals, whose clients require more value added solutions than just traditional accountancy and tax advice. Being able to work alongside other accountants, independent financial advisors, solicitors and investment managers means we are able to offer clients expert trust and tax advice that they really appreciate, and deliver holistic solutions suited to their personal circumstances”.

Mr Jones will be working to offer professional trustee services to a variety of trust arrangements, from small trust portfolios to larger and more complex trust arrangements, including UK family trusts. He will also be assisting new clients looking to move offshore trusts onshore and those looking to consolidate historic trust arrangements (including Employee Benefit Trusts), as well as working with clients who wish to put in place new trust arrangements.

Mr Jones will be working from Qubic’s London office based at 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) developing relationships with advisers and clients across the UK, ensuring that Qubic’ services are available to those looking for specialist expert trust, estates and inheritance tax advice.
