IT adviser FarrPoint joins specialist MOD provider network managed by Aurora Engineering Partnership
Network enables MOD to access the latest engineering innovation and tap into the best UK expertise across a variety of industry sectors
Independent IT adviser FarrPoint has been accepted to join the Provider Network for the Aurora Engineering Partnership, who have been appointed by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as their Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) for Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S).
As a member of the Aurora provider network, FarrPoint has the opportunity to provide value in working with the MOD to design and deploy next-generation IT and communication services, keeping the armed forces efficient, safe and cost-effective.
The partnership – formed by QinetiQ, Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, and BMT – will help the MOD to reduce costs of their engineering services, while ensuring the UK’s Armed Forces receive the best equipment and support.
FarrPoint is already a member of eight public sector procurement frameworks, including G-Cloud 10 and Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3.
