New home for growing Teesside financial firm

A corporate finance company has moved into new premises in Stockton-on-Tees as part of its ongoing expansion.

Marlin Corporate Finance, which specialises in financial advice and capital for businesses, investors and developers, has relocated to Falcon Court to accommodate its growing team.

The new energy-efficient premises include a large open-plan workspace to allow for team expansion, as well as access to meeting rooms.

Managing director Paul Griffiths explained: “Given the North East’s hardworking ethos, there will be many opportunities available for businesses in the area in the coming months and we want to be right there supporting them.

“We aim to double our team over the next year, adding experience from a variety of businesses and industries, as well as keeping up to date with the ever-evolving finance industry.”

As well as the relocation, Marlin Corporate Finance appointed local businessman Gary Lumby as a consultant in November 2018 as part of its growth plan. Gary brought experience in banking, service, marketing and growth techniques to the company.

Speaking of his appointment, Gary said: “Joining Marlin was a perfect fit. Paul and I are both passionate about local business and wanting to help as many as possible access the capital they need.”
