Stokesley Under14s get smart with local sponsorship deal
Stokesley Football Club under 14s are going to be the smartest team on the pitch thanks to one local business deal to sponsor the squad’s new home kits.
Stokesley based business Il Mulino has supplied the full kit to the 20 strong squad who play at Stokesley Sports Club as part of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance.
The provision of the new kits by Il Mulino, an Italian restaurant in the heart of Stokesley, will allow the team to feel immense pride in their club and the town they play for.
Team manager, James Thompson commented:
“The new kit is a really inspirational gift to the whole squad, we want them to feel pride in their club and these news kits will certainly do this. We are delighted that our local sponsor has chosen our team to support and are thrilled about its commitment to a local football team.” As a keen football fan, Il Mulino owner Alex Cook, added: “We are pleased we can support the under 14s team at Stokesley Football Club as it is so important that young teams are supported at this grassroots level. All of us at Il Mulino will be keen to follow the team’s season and will especially be proud to see our business displayed on their shirts.” The Under 14s are just one of the many children’s football teams run at Stokesley FC, by dedicated volunteers and parents. Martin Wood, Chairman of the Stokesley Football Club said: “It is great to see local businesses showing such commitment to the junior teams in Stokesley. We are delighted to welcome Il Mulino as one of our team sponsors. “ The Under 14s will showcase their new strip at their next match away to Darlington Young Bulls.
