Double success at Cherry Professional as company celebrates 10 years in business

There’s a double celebration at East Midlands recruitment firm Cherry Professional this month.

Danielle Coleman, who has been with Cherry for five years, has made the step up to Director at the firm, which has offices in Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Lincoln and is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Danielle joined Cherry in 2014 with 15 years of recruitment experience behind her. In 2017 she was promoted to Associate Director.

Danielle Asano, Managing Director at Cherry Professional said: “Danielle has been instrumental in the growth of Cherry Professional since she arrived five years ago. In that time she has grown and developed the team beyond all recognition, as well as managing our Office Support and Finance Clerical teams to great success and helping with various projects and strategies that has seen us expand year on year.”

Cherry has also hired Jackie Lister as Senior Recruitment Consultant to cover Part Qualified Professionals in Derby and Claire Watts as Senior Recruitment Consultant to cover Administration and business professional roles, meaning the team is now at its largest since it was set up in 2009.

Danielle Asano added: “It’s our 10th birthday this year and we have grown to a team of 28 people, with two new hires starting in January taking our total to 30. We are looking to expand by a further three people this financial year.

“We have also had a record breaking year, smashing company budget every month this financial year so far. Our new brand and website has helped take us into a new realm in terms of attracting new business and candidates. It’s fitting that all these milestones are happening in our tenth year - we’re looking forward to another decade of success!”

Cherry’s staff will celebrate the company’s tenth anniversary at a birthday party on the 21st of February with clients, candidates and long term supporters of the company.
