London furniture company Hayche seeks £125k in growth crowdfunding
Sustainable furniture and seating specialist Hayche has pre-launched its first crowdfunding campaign through equity platform Seedrs.
The campaign aims to raise £125k in funds for the London-based business and will be used to develop new products, invest in stock and develop its digital marketing capabilities.
Founded by Mexican architect and product designer Alejandro Villarreal in London in 2014, Hayche specialises in using natural and sustainable materials to create its furniture range.
The company has over 200 customers in 19 countries, using its online store and social media pages to reach international clients. In addition to having a recently opened showroom in Clerkenwell, it has stockists in London and Switzerland, and has established relationships with brands such as Made.com, M&S, Laura Ashley, Made in Ratio and Habitat.
The public are invited to help Hayche reach their fundraising goal with a minimum of £10 investment. Paul Tanner, managing director of Hayche, is excited about the possibilities that the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) eligible crowdfunding will bring.
He explained: “We have great existing and proven designs and sketchbooks full of new ideas that we want to bring to market. We have prototypes underway and factories ready to go.”
