ImageRights opens London office to bolster European copyright enforcement

International copyright enforcement service ImageRights has announced the opening of its second European office in London as part of a copyright enforcement expansion.

Following the launch of its first European office in Germany, the new London office allow ImageRights to develop UK-based recovery operations to accommodate an increasing number of IPEC small claims cases.

ImageRights specialises in using a blend of in-house developed artificial intelligence, web search and algorithms technology to protect the intellectual property rights of professional photographers, assisting in the pursuit of compensation for unauthorised use of photos and other visual content.

In addition to accommodating increased caseloads, the company’s new UK presence will improve accessibility to photographers and photo agencies across Europe, at a time when Article 1 of the EU Copyright Directive is sparking widespread debate around European copyright law.
