The Coalface co-working space set to launch in Finsbury Park
A new co-working space is due to open in the Finsbury Park area providing workspaces for SMEs, startups and entrepreneurs.
The Coalface, so named as a nod to the area’s historic connections with the coal industry, is located in Clifton House on Wells Terrace.
It will offer mainly private offices to businesses, ranging from three to 20 desks, in a flexibly designed space that can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of rapidly changing businesses.
As well as workspaces, The Coalface will also offer tenants dedicated break-out areas, meeting rooms and outdoor spaces for work and relaxation purposes.
The Coalface CEO Jonathan Hausmann believes the hub will address the needs of London-based businesses as well as commuters from further afield, filling a gap in the market by offering a more affordable working space outside of the City.
He added: “It’s really exciting to be able to offer such a high-quality space that is genuinely affordable for the entrepreneurs and startups who are increasingly being priced out of Central London, and are fed up with working out of a coffee shop.”
