ELG Planning nominated for prestigious planning industry award for second time in three years

ELG Planning have been named as a finalist in the category for Planning Consultancy of the Year at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence 2019.

The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence are the most established and respected awards in the UK planning industry. Running for over 40 years, they celebrate exceptional examples of planning and the contribution planners make to society. This is the second time in the last three years that the North-East based practice have been shortlisted for the national award.

ELG are based in Darlington and have recently opened an office in Harrogate as well as setting up a specialist conservation team at the head office. They have been involved in numerous high-profile projects across the region for a variety of clients.

The practice has recently broken into the top 40 planning consultancies nationally and have grown substantially in recent years and ELG are now the second largest employer of chartered town planners in the region.

ELG Planning operates throughout the country and has been involved in a number of high-profile schemes in the region and in many of the major cities throughout the UK.

The winners will be announced during a ceremony held at Milton Court Concert Hall in central London on 24 April 2019.
