Stampin’ Up! UK Honoured at British Craft Awards
High Wycombe company named Papercraft Brand of the Year
Crafting company Stampin’ Up! UK has won a coveted industry prize at the prestigious British Craft Awards. The High Wycombe- based firm fended off some strong competition to bring home the award for Papercraft Brand of the Year, a title it previously won in 2017. The company was also named first runner up in the Papercraft Retailer of the Year category.
Paula Gorry, Demonstrator Development Manager at Stampin’ Up! UK accepted the award on behalf of the company in a ceremony held at the Birmingham NEC on Sunday 17th February.
She comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to win Papercraft Brand of the Year once again and we’d like to give a huge thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for us- what an amazing start to 2019!
“The British Craft Awards are particularly special because they’re voted for by members of the public, so winning is a real recognition of the passion and commitment we put into sharing our love of creativity. One of the best parts of this job is seeing people who have never tried papercraft before completely light up as they realise how simple and rewarding it can be-we look forward to introducing more people to its joys this year!”
