Katie Parratt, Haddleton Legal
Harrogate law firm Haddleton Legal has recruited data specialist Katie Parratt to support the growth of its life sciences and technology division and the development of its online legal and compliance training portal, Haddleton Academy.
Katie specialises in medical informatics and will also be tasked with designing new systems and processes to support the law firm’s expansion and improve client and team experience.
James Haddleton, of Haddleton Legal, said: “This is a strategic appointment that will see Katie working as part of the Haddleton Legal back office team and as an integral part of our growing life sciences division.
“Her experience in medical informatics will add huge value to our work with fast growth life science companies and her skills will also be deployed within our own business to enhance our internal operations.”
Rachel Baul, Jones Myers
Jones Myers has appointed an experienced family law solicitor to join its growing team.
Rachel Baul’s specialisms include high net worth financial cases involving business and trust assets in the UK and overseas.
Regularly representing sports professionals and members of the medical profession, Rachel’s extensive expertise includes pension assets and drafting cohabitation and pre-nuptial/post-nuptial agreements involving significant assets.
A former president of Harrogate & District Law Society, Rachel is based at the firm’s Harrogate office at Windsor House which opened in 2017 to accommodate an increase in instructions from North Yorkshire clients.

Jodie Barwick-Bell, Michael Stacey and Andy Gilderdale, Deloitte
Business advisory firm, Deloitte has appointed three new members to its team.
Jodie Barwick-Bell joins as tax director and head of private client Leeds with a focus on the family office services in the region. She is joined by Michael Stacey as associate director and consultant Andy Gilderdale.
The three new members means Deloitte offer one of the largest private client teams in the region, providing joined up advice covering all aspects of business and personal tax advice, from property and M&A to personal matters including succession planning, structuring of wealth, estates and trusts.

Alexandra Fogal, Barclays
Barclays has appointed a new team member to its Yorkshire Larger Corporate team in its drive to be the first choice banking provider for businesses in the Yorkshire area.
Alexandra Fogal joins the team as a business development director and will be responsible for looking after the needs of larger businesses with a turnover of £6.5m upwards across Yorkshire.
Fogal said: “I’m delighted to be part of the Larger Corporate expansion plans and hope to play a big part in our ambitious growth plans for Yorkshire.
“With the ever strengthening team we will be well placed to take advantage of the opportunities within Yorkshire supporting our larger corporates with their more complex needs.”
