London tech startup launches with AI leak defence system
London-based tech startup Hero Labs officially launches today with their flagship smart leak defence product Sonic.
Originally founded in September 2018, Hero Labs has plans to expand into the UK mass-affluent market once its flagship product Sonic is available to consumers later this year.
Sonic uses custom-built AI technology to detect leaks in domestic water systems, designed to protect customers’ homes and possessions, as well as have a positive environmental impact.
Following the success of his previous venture, smart home insurer Neos, entrepreneur Krystian Zajac founded Hero Labs last year. He is joined by commercial director Hamish Neale, who brings over ten years of smart home tech knowledge to the team, including experience at home installation trade body CEDIA.
Talking about flagship product Sonic, Hero Labs CEO Krystian explained: “Our cutting-edge, AI-powered technology is designed to stop water leaks at the source, saving businesses and insurers money on claims, and saving consumers hassle.
Sonic is just the tip of the iceberg for us, and we’ll be continually innovating to bring even more solutions to consumers.“
