Newcastle firm celebrating five years of intensive growth with new hires
Newcastle-based Samuel Knight is celebrating its five-year anniversary with two new hires and a £16 million turnover under its belt. Following extensive growth plans, the specialist global energy and rail recruitment firm has gone from strength-to-strength, increasing headcount from four to 45 and opening three offices since its inception in 2014.
In order to support its planned international expansion, the firm has welcomed two new recruits who are just the latest in a number of new hires. Amanda Dunnington joins as a energy Consultant, bringing with her ten years of experience in the energy field. Recent Sport Science and Psychology graduate, Marc Cook, will be brought in as Consultant to support the team.
Commenting on the firm’s success, Steve Rawlingson, CEO at Samuel Knight said:
“Over the last five years, our business has reached phenomenal heights. To have gone from just four of us to an extensive team spread across three offices delivering international talent solutions is something we’re immensely proud of. And while there may be uncertainty ahead for the UK in particular, we’re hugely confident that our aggressive growth plans can be achieved. Indeed, we’re looking at further international expansions in the very near future.”
“We do, of course, recognise that this growth would not have been achievable without the hard-working and committed team we’ve developed, and we are dedicated to continuing to attract the talented resources we need to drive our business growth. Our latest hires, Amanda and Marc, are excellent new recruits with so much potential. Both of them bring with them a wealth of skills that will help us continue to stand out as the leading global energy and rail specialist.
