Huddersfield accountancy firm shortlisted in regional trade award
Huddersfield-based, Crowther Chartered Accountants has been shortlisted in the Accountancy Team of the Year category at this year’s Yorkshire Accountancy Awards.
Crowther will join other finalists at an awards ceremony on 8th May 2019 to celebrate the region’s talent in accountancy and finance.
Established in 1995, Crowther is headed-up by chartered account, Steve Crowther, who is supported by a team of twenty local professionals.
Hosted by comedian Phil Wang, the awards will take place at New Dock Hall in Leeds and will shine a spotlight on the excellence of individuals and organisations across the region.
Organised by communications firm, Barker Brooks and sponsored by Xero, the awards are designed to encourage nominations from small independent, mid-tier and large firms, while also offering a wide range of individual and team awards.
Commenting on the award shortlisting, Steve Crowther said:
“I am thrilled to have been named alongside so many other talented businesses in the region. What an incredible way to start 2019; we’re really excited to attend the award ceremony in Leeds and celebrate the region’s talent with our peers.”
The news follows a rapid year of growth for Crowther, who has increased revenue by 18% and hired an additional four members of staff.
