Bradford accountants open new office in prestigious Leeds financial district
A Bradford-headquartered accountancy firm has opened an office on Leeds’ Park Row to support its continued growth across the region.
Naylor Wintersgill is an independent firm of chartered accountants in Bradford city centre. One Park Row is said to be within the UK’s largest centre for financial and business services outside of London.
Led by eight directors and with more than 50 employees, Naylor Wintersgill, which has been established for over 100 years, operates from its Carlton House office on Grammar School Street in Bradford.
The second office in Leeds is planned as an additional base for its team and will offer increased flexibility for clients.
Victoria Wainwright, managing director who joined as the firm’s first apprentice in 1991 and has seen the team more than treble in employees, said: “Opening a second city centre office is all part of the Naylor Wintersgill evolution and complements our wider business strategy.
“We’re incredibly proud of our Bradford roots and our core team and our headquarters will remain at Carlton House.
“Having a base in Leeds - and in the city’s established financial quarter - allows us to offer our team even more opportunities in our neighbouring city and be better connected across the region, particularly with ongoing developments to rail travel.
“We’re thrilled to provide our team and clients with the additional location and look forward to embracing the Leeds city centre community as we have in our home city.”
Naylor Wintersgill provides business, accountancy, audit and taxation services for individuals and companies as well as not-for-profit organisations.
Roger Marsh OBE, chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), added: “I’m delighted to welcome Naylor Wintersgill’s expansion into Leeds, having built a thriving base in Bradford.
“It demonstrates the significant growth in our region’s business and professional services sector, which contributes £19.8bn to the national economy and employs over 300,000 people.”
