Fintech startup with global ambitions opens six European offices
London-based startup business Curve has announced plans to expand on a global scale starting with six new offices across Europe.
The fintech platform, which allows users to combine their credit and debit cards into one card and smart app, has responded to international demand by planning to open offices in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Poland.
After a consistent month-on-month growth of 30 per cent since its launch last year, Curve is in the process of hiring six country managers to oversee the European offices, with ambitions to expand globally.
Shachar Bialick, founder and CEO of Curve, commented: “We are extremely excited to be fulfilling our goal to export our brand internationally and to create a new generation of users that have greater financial control over their lives.”
To maintain the company’s startup culture throughout the upcoming period of international growth, Curve have welcomed former LinkedIn hiring manager Alaister Mortlock to the team as head of talent.
Shachar continued: “Maintaining a positive work environment will be instrumental in helping us to export our brand to a wider customer base, as we invest in a strong and committed team that can deliver the services and support that users expect from us.”
