Commercial Property Partners donate to Sheffield-based charity
Buzz, a Sheffield based charity working to support vulnerable and isolated people, has received a £500 charity donation from Commercial Property Partners (CPP).
The donation from the UK property consultancy, who have an office in Sheffield, will be used to support the running of the charity’s Child Contact Centre.
Buzz Child Contact Centre supports families in the city, to enable children to develop and maintain positive relationships with non-resident parents and other family members.
Established in 1999, the charity is passionate about building communities and enabling positive social connections. It currently runs activities for children, families, young people and older people from its base at St Andrews, and other venues across the city.
Paula Higgins, Community Activities Coordinator at Buzz, said: “We are incredibly grateful to local business CPP for their donation to our contact centre. The Contact Centre could not run if it wasn’t for the dedication and wonderful support of our team of seven volunteers.
“A lot of the families who rely on Buzz can’t always afford to pay the administration fees, and so CPP’s donation will allow wider access to our services.”
Richard Wright, partner at CPP, added: “The amenities and approach that Buzz provides for people in Sheffield are both much needed - and much appreciated. As a business we are keen to support our local communities, and through our donation we can help to safeguard the incredible work the charity does.”
