Aaron & Partners launches new Employment law service to ensure equal oppawtunities for animals

Firm launches new service to protect the employment rights of pet influencers following demand from private clients

UK law firm Aaron & Partners LLP has today announced the launch of a new employment law service for pet influencers – a specialist service for furry, fluffy and feathered animals.

Aaron & Partners’ renowned Employment team are set to offer the new service due to the rising number of animals shunning the traditional pet lifestyle in favour of careers in the public eye.

Dogs, cats, fish and even tortoises are just some of the species the firm hopes to work with, with many animals now choosing to promote products and brands through their own social media channels, as well as on TV and in magazines.

As part of the new service, standard employment contracts will be drawn up to suit the needs of each animal, including key clauses such as fixed nap times, allocated time for belly tickles or petting, and remuneration in snuggles and favourite treats.

Helen Watson, Head of the Employment team at Aaron & Partners, said: “More and more animals have ambitions to be famous and we’ve been approached by many of our own private clients looking for advice on how they can do right by their pets and help them achieve their dreams at the same time.

“That’s why we decided to launch this new service that provides tailored employment contracts for the pets themselves, building in all of the things that really matter to them. That could be anything from designated times for rest and sleep, all the way through to a requested brand of pet food or set times for playing and socialising.

“We’ve already got some fantastic animals working with us, including Staffy Flo and Alfie Bojangles – both of which we’re sure are destined for future stardom – so we’re excited to see how our service grows in the future.”
