Layers London joins fashion royalty in Bond Street Quarter
Designer fashion retailer Layers London is joining some of the biggest names in fashion by opening a new store in the Bond Street Quarter of Mayfair.
With an existing store on Molton Street, the retailer will occupy the 2,000 sq ft unit at 17 Ablemarle Street in London’s Mayfair district.
Known for its luxury fashion brands, the newly-dubbed Bond Street quarter comprises Bond, Dover, Albemarle and Grafton Streets, and is already home to the boutiques of Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang, Amanda Wakeley, Aquazzura and Faliero Sarti.
Tors Hayward of Levy Real Estate, the firm that advised on the store letting, commented: “This is a stunning period building which has been meticulously restored to provide luxurious space.”
Layers London, described by Vogue magazine as “a place where fashion, art, music and literature coexists inside in one sole space”, specialises in men’s and women’s fashion from a range of artisanal designers.
Tors continued: “Layers London sources the finest avant-garde and contemporary fashion designers from around the world and brings together fashion, art and music to create a unique retail experience which will be enhanced by this setting.”
