Nexus Sees Double With Awards Success

Nexus Vehicle Rental, the UK’s leading tech driven business mobility provider, is celebrating a double award win in one night after claiming The Medium Business Award at the Yorkshire Business Masters and the Judges’ Leadership Award at the Northern Tech Awards.

The wins have seen the business cement its reputation as a leader in business mobility solutions after winning a record five awards in the last year alone spanning both fleet industry and business performance. The company, which has been consistently recognised for sustained, dynamic business growth, announced record results in February, reporting revenue growth of 43.5% and a double-digit profit growth for the fifth consecutive year.

This caps a year that saw the company secure a £142 million private equity investment from Phoenix Equity Partners in July after rapid growth in recent years, which will see Nexus continue to expand and further develop its proprietary rental booking and management technology, IRIS.

In addition to the two awards, Nexus also received special recognition at the Northern Tech Awards by being named as one of the Top 15 fastest growing larger technology companies.

Nexus specialises in providing access to the UK’s largest supply chain of more than 550,000 vehicles, including 100,000 specialist and commercial vehicles, across over 2,000 UK locations. Vehicles can be booked in just ten seconds via its award-winning online rental booking platform, IRIS.

Nexus has had a string of award wins over the past 12 months with a National Business Award in the London Stock Exchange Group Scale Up category and CEO David Brennan claiming two Business Desk Leadership Awards for Company Leader (100+ employees) and the headline Leader of the Year award.

Both the Yorkshire Business Masters and The Northern Tech Awards took place on 28 March at The Queens Hotel in Leeds and the Albert Hall in Manchester respectively.
