The Sandon Hotel unveils preview of how it will look as it nears completion

The Sandon Hotel is just weeks away from opening and has unveiled a sneak preview of how it will look as it nears completion.

The hotel is a £1 million expansion of the popular Sandon Pub - an official LFC hospitality partner

The 115-bed hotel, which is an extension of popular Anfield pub The Sandon, will open in a matter of weeks and become the most in-demand football related hotel just a stones’ throw away from Liverpool Football Club.

The Sandon will continue to work with LFC as an official partner to deliver outstanding hospitality.

The Sandon Pub welcomes over 5,000 match goers and football supporters each time the Reds play a home game.

Owner Kate Stewart has invested £1 million into its extension, creating a place for those visiting to stay and offering them a convenient and comfortable hotel that is packed with signed memorabilia.

Miss Stewart has created 15 new jobs for local people, and chose to use only local businesses for the build, combined with locally sourced materials - all of which she is incredibly passionate about.

The hotel has been tastefully designed with Liverpool Football club in mind, with deep red hues dominating the colour scheme. The rooms are home to cosy pods and vary in capacity with the majority sleeping up to six people and others sleeping up to ten - a perfect feature for those travelling in small or larger groups.

Commenting on the hotel’s progress, Kate Stewart said: “I’m delighted to see The Sandon Hotel coming together. We’re implementing the finishing touches and in just a few weeks it will welcome its first guests meaning that the pub and hotel combined will offer the complete experience.

“The Sandon is loved by Reds fans so it’s only right that we created a place that those travelling from further afield, or fans who want to relax and forget about finding a taxi home, can stay at right in the heart of Anfield.

“I’m also thrilled that the hotel has contributed to the local area. We have used local businesses, locally sourced materials and created jobs. It’s great to be able to give something back to Anfield and the wider Liverpool area.”
