Next phases of Royal Docks development to get go-ahead

London-based developer Mount Anvil has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for phases two and three of the Royal Eden Docks development.

Following the first phase of the scheme, a 19-storey tower known as Royal Docks West, the new phases will deliver 796 new homes in the London Borough of Newham.

Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2019 with completion due in 2024, and is expected to create 147 new jobs each year.

Mount Anvil worked in partnership with ExCeL London to secure the resolution, with Jeremy Rees, chief executive officer at ExCeL London adding: “I’m delighted with this latest planning success and our collaborative partnership with Mount Anvil.
