Property developer launches multi-million-pound flagship space near Covent Garden

Longmartin Properties Ltd has completed a £10m refurbishment of 143 Long Acre.

The building is situated at the gateway to Covent Garden from Leicester Square and comprises a flagship retail store and five floors of office space. Longmartin Properties is a joint venture between Shaftesbury and The Mercers’ Company,

Located on the corner of Long Acre, and with St Martin’s Courtyard sitting behind, the fully refurbished 143 Long Acre building leads with a 4,000 sq ft flagship retail opportunity on the ground floor.

Commenting on behalf of Longmartin Properties Ltd, Simon Taylor, property director at The Mercers’ Company, said: “143 and The Arbour are revitalised landmarks in Covent Garden, with the investment delivering new and innovative space for both retail and offices within one of the most renowned areas in London’s West End.

An additional 7,600 sq ft of offices, named The Arbour, spans across five floors above and is completed by a private 500 sq ft rooftop terrace. It has been designed by Ian Ritchie Architects.

Colliers and Hanover Green Retail are the leasing agents for the retail space at 143 Long Acre and Colliers and CBRE for the offices.
