Lorien named as IT Staffing Services Supplier on Scottish Government Framework

Lorien, part of the global Impellam Group, has been confirmed as a supplier of Interim IT staff services for the Scottish Government, supplying the Scottish public sector. Already Scotland’s largest supplier of interim IT workers, their addition to the 4 year Interim IT Staff Services Framework allows them to provide in-demand skills which support key Scottish public sector priorities.

With a 40 year track record of success, Lorien have long been relied upon by some of the UK’s leading businesses. For the previous 15 years their Edinburgh office alone has placed over 9000 interim workers across Scotland, at all levels of IT and Technology.

The public sector is a crucial contributor to the economy and employs around 20% of the Scottish workforce, higher than anywhere else in the UK. With digital transformation and cybersecurity just two of the key areas of priority for the Scottish Government, Lorien’s expertise and candidate network is seen as crucial.

CEO Claire Marsh believes Lorien’s partnership based approach can be hugely beneficial to the Scottish public sector.
