East Yorkshire business expands team with a string of new appointments
Arc Flash protective clothing specialist, ProGARM, is celebrating yet more growth, following its recent appointment of three new team members.
Based in Gilberdyke near Hull, the family owned business, which supplies its pioneering Arc Flash garments across the globe, including to contractors in the US and across Europe, has seen huge success over the previous years, which has led to its team expansion.
The latest members to join the company include Carlie Hooper as Customer Service Manager, Jessica Hoyle as Assistant Product Manager, and Clare Kay as Internal Sales Executive.
Coming from a fashion retail background, Jessica’s responsibilities will centre around designing and creating new concepts, launching new products and updating the current range, as well as bringing innovation to ProGARM and maintaining ProGARM as the leading Arc Flash specialists.
Meanwhile, having previously worked for Arco, a supplier of safety equipment, for over ten years, Clare Kay will be utilising her industry experience to assist with the company’s expansion into new markets and continuing the growth of the business.
Mark Lant, technical sales manager at ProGARM, said: “This is a really exciting period for ProGARM. The company is experiencing real growth, with a number of recent product launches and even more yet to come. Arc Flash is a very real health and safety issue impacting industry professionals globally. The brand supplies clothing to contractors across the globe in industries such as petrochemical, utilities and power generation, rail and industrial electrical. These garments help to protect against the life changing injuries and potentially fatal consequences posed by an Arc Flash - a type of electrical explosion that can be hotter than the sun and louder than a gunshot.
