Leeds property specialist completes North London lease to national retailer

Leeds-based property and car parking firm Town Centre Securities (TCS) has completed a new London lease to a national retailer.

Retailer The Works has signed a five year lease for the retail unit on North London’s Holloway Road, previously occupied by Mothercare and joining brands such as Vodafone, Holland & Barrett and Carphone Warehouse.

The new lease has created an opportunity for TCS to capitalise on the growing demand for rental properties, with the first floor of the property earmarked for residential development.

Headquartered in Leeds and with offices across the country, TCS is aiming to further expand its London portfolio, following the acquisition of a mixed-use development in Chiswick last year.

Matthew Coates, investment manager at TCS said: “TCS is pleased to announce the signing of the new lease to The Works at Holloway Road in London.

“To have secured a national retailer of this nature for this prominently positioned unit will undoubtedly enhance the retail offering in the locality and we are looking forward to progressing with the residential element on the upper floors of the property.”
