Final 6.5 acre plot sold at 'transformative' Hull business park

The last plot in Hull’s Priory Park business complex has been sold to a commercial developer by Sheffield firm Henry Boot Developments (HBD).

The deal marks the end of the 28-year regeneration project, which saw the transformation of the brownfield site into a business park.

Situated west of Hull city centre, the complex is home to a range of local and national businesses such as Arco, De Vere Hotels, Indivior and Aldi.

The final sale sees local firm Allenby Commercial acquire the remaining 6.5 acre plot for further independent development.

Vivienne Clements, director at HBD, said: “28 years in the making, Priory Park is a perfect example of HBD’s long-term, strategic approach to development.

A major regeneration project covering 150-acres, it has been transformative for Hull, acting as a catalyst for economic growth, creating thousands of jobs and boosting the skills base across the region.“
