Flair bartenders & Cocktail Mixologists sought as the UK’s number 1 pop up bar supplier sets its sights on shaking up the North East

Leeds-based, pop-up cocktail bar company, Zest Mixology has announced plans to significantly increase their operations within the North East.

Having achieved a steady 30% year-on-year growth since the company’s inception in 2011 including setting up a base in London & Birmingham, the company has now set its sights further North and on a more ambitious 50% growth target for 2019.

Managing Director, Murdo MacLeod said: “‘I lived in the North East for many years and I love the area so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the Zest Mixology brand here’.

With over 1 million event guests catered under their belt Murdo justifiably describes the company as ‘experienced.’

He goes on: ’As well as bringing our experience and reputation for high quality and reliability, it is essential we continue with our exceptionally high standards in cocktail mixology. We will be looking to increase our team across the board and we are particularly looking out for anyone with a 3+ year cocktail experience. A great personality and flair skills are a big bonus!

In-case you don’t know, Flair Bartendering or Flairing is the art of spinning bottles and performing choreographed routines to entertain guests around a bar (If you’re of a certain age Tom Cruise will spring to mind). Murdo certainly does know, having over 20 years experience himself and having personally trained over 2000 bartenders in mixology

As well as looking to secure new partnerships and catering for corporate and private events, Zest Mixology will continue to service it’s portfolio of clients across the UK & Europe including Compass Group, The NEC, Baxter Storey, The Live Group and brands such as Microsoft, Apple & BMW.
