Construction firm teams up with Middlesbrough FC to boost Teesside growth
North East firm Meldrum Construction has partnered with Middlesbrough FC through its Business Club.
Aiming to boost the Gateshead-based company’s visibility and presence in Teesside, the partnership will see the firm’s name broadcast on matchdays, as well as featured on pitch and crowd-facing LED boards.
The partnership will also enable the company to attend exclusive partner events and access opportunities to network with other local businesses.
Founded in 2001, Meldrum Construction has gone through a steady period of growth by winning local contracts such as the 27,500 sq ft Boldon Business Park industrial unit, secured at the end of 2018.
Meldrum Construction’s head of business support services, Cheryl James, explained: “The ability to take clients, employees, and suppliers to corporate hospitality has been a real bonus for us and has helped forge stronger relationships with those individuals and organisations.
“When speaking with suppliers and clients, the sponsorship and our logo being spotted at the ground is definitely being mentioned and fed back to us. The branding and affiliation with the club has helped elevate awareness of our organisation.”
