National recognition for Nottingham Bodyshop manager
A team member at Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham West Bridgford is being rewarded for his work as a bodyshop manager.
Alan Clarke was named ‘Bodyshop Manager of the Year’ at Vertu Motors plc’s CEO Awards. Alan is responsible for the smooth and timely flow of work through the bodyshop, whilst maintaining high quality standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
The event celebrates the achievements of ‘game-changing’ colleagues throughout the UK, who have impressed at the Group’s outlets, and in central services at its headquarters in Team Valley, Gateshead.
Vertu Motors chief executive Robert Forrester hosted the awards at the 18th century mansion, Oulton Hall in Leeds. The company’s board and management teams nominate a shortlist of managers each year and Robert reviews each individual submission before personally selecting the most significant performers in each area of the business.
Robert Forrester said: “Alan’s approach to his work is phenomenal, he shows absolute focus, passion and attention to detail across all areas of his business.
“He demonstrates great leadership within his team and is committed to consistently delivering outstanding service to customers in the Nottingham area.
Alan Clarke added: “It takes a team of people who are willing to work hard, to deliver fantastic results to our customers, so while I am honoured to receive the award for Bodyshop Manager of the Year, it has definitely been a group effort.
“I would, therefore, like to thank my team and colleagues at Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham West Bridgford for their contribution, and I look forward to what we can achieve in the coming year.”
