London property group bags prime commercial Swindon site for £3m
MCR Property Group has acquired a 43,000 sq ft commercial property on Farnsby Street in Swindon.
Wiltshire Court is a five-storey building and is currently 70 per cent occupied by local businesses, with the London and Manchester-based developer seeking to let the remaining available space.
Prospective tenants could benefit from being near the town’s high street and less than half a mile from Swindon rail station. Queen’s Park is also within walking distance.
Harry Ladds, asset manager at MCR Property Group, said: “Wiltshire Court is a great addition to MCR Property Group’s growing portfolio in the south.
“Thanks to its convenient location and easy access to nearby cities, Swindon is an extremely sought-after place to do business.
“Our high-quality, contemporary offices are ideally situated close to local amenities and green areas. We are confident that the remaining space in this key commercial outlet will prove popular with local companies.”
MCR Property Group purchased Wiltshire Court this month for £3m. The developer’s portfolio in Swindon also holds 200 homes across three residential schemes; Guild House, Electra House and Alexander House.
