Huddersfield plant hire firm sees rapid growth thanks to £500k boost
Huddersfield firm Rodgers Plant Hire has experienced a period of growth with new premises and hires as a result of funding from retail bank NatWest.
The Huddersfield-based business has moved into new headquarters on a 1.7 acre site and hire two new members of staff after securing a £500k commercial loan with the bank to accelerate growth.
Rodgers Plant Hire’s managing director, Simon Rodgers, commented: “After outgrowing our old premises, we began looking at locations and designs for a new fit-for-purpose location here in Huddersfield.
“The funding from NatWest has supported our investment and helped us drive forward our expansion plans, allowing us to meet customer demand and create new jobs in the process.”
Steve Mayor, relationship director at NatWest, added: “Rodgers Plant Hire is a great example of a local family run business. Since the 1940s, the business has seen tremendous growth from its humble beginnings and is now achieving impressive growth.
“The funding we delivered has provided a strong foundation for expansion and we look forward to supporting the business as it moves forward.”
