Leeds software firm secures US business through global tech customer
Leeds-based business intelligence (BI) specialist Panintelligence has secured a global retail technology customer which will see its software used across the US retail sector.
In a white-label arrangement through Coventry-based firm PCMS, Panintelligence will see its technology implemented by a range of US retailers including Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy Mobile and Walgreens.
The deal will also see the company’s product used by UK brands including Marks & Spencer, Waterstones, John Lewis and Waitrose.
Panintelligence, which specialises in real-time BI data analytics, has grown its turnover from £330k to £1.8m in the past five years, and is currently in discussion with other US vendors and resellers with a view to formally enter the UK market in 2019.
Zandra Moore, co-founder and CEO of Panintelligence, commented: “This is our first major contract win in the US. We see real potential for us in the American market, in the retail sector and beyond.”
Andy Bourke, product manager at PCMS, added: “As the retail industry continues to evolve, partners like Panintelligence are a critical part of our strategy.”
“As a result, PCMS can offer its customers more powerful and actionable insights from their data. Retailers can benefit from the advanced analytics capability and will appreciate the complete transparency they gain across their operations.”
