Old Vinyl Factory at former HMV HQ site to be given new spin with mixed-use development

Property developer Joseph Homes has acquired a building at West London’s Old Vinyl Factory for a mixed-use complex delivering commercial space and over 100 homes.

In a deal with regeneration developer U+I, Joseph Homes purchased the Veneer Building, which forms part of an 18-acre development.

The site, once home to HMV’s headquarters, comprises the former EMI record plant, as well as a statue of HMV icon ‘Nipper’ the dog.

Joseph Homes plans create over 100 residential properties as well as commercial units, and is expected to progress an application for the mixed-use development later this year.

Veneer Building is the final residential-led phase of the development, which together with The Assembly Buildings, Boiler House, The Gatefold, Machine Store and the Material Store will deliver over 650 new homes across the site.
